Senior Electrical Technician – Planning

1. Working knowledge of PC Softwares eg. MS Office, MS Project etc.
2. Have six (6) years experience for diploma holder or Seven (7) years for Higher Secondary (science side) with 2 years Industrial Training Certificate in similar facilities, at least five (5) years hand on experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical equipment like motors, transformers, generators, circuit breakers UPS, VSDs and cabling in similar position.
3. Have the skill to maintain, disassemble and reassemble Electrical machinery in accordance with specifications.
4. Should be conversant with electronic circuits/Micro Processor boards and able to fault locate / repair such systems.
5. Inspects, repairs, tests the electrical equipment and protection system and makes final running adjustments.
6. Be able to read, write and speak English language freely.
7. Be able to read Engineering drawings.
8. Knowledge of hazardous area classification and flameproof equipment.
9. Be able to complete assigned jobs without supervision.
10. Preparing material, tools & equipment requirements of P.M. activities
11. Maintaining equipment records and advises personnel of any trends.
12. Assists in the implementation of the Preventive Maintenance Program.
13. Assist / Create PM Work orders and load resources in MAXIMO (eBeams).
14. Assist in preparing scope of work, bar chart / schedule for Shutdown and overhauling related activities on machineries & Plants etc.
15. Progress follow up at site and in C.W. Shops and daily update in computer.
16. Prepares material request and assist in delivering the required material / spares at site.
17. Maintains all relevant records for surveys and shutdown activities.
18. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly & Project Status reports on computers with standard softwares.
19. Records /logs daily report, calibration activities and spares utilization.
20. Carries out other related duties such as obtaining excavation/work permits in accordance with the Company’s regulation
